Dr. Suter is living his dream. When you meet him, you will be able to see how much he loves his job. Helping people with pain and loss of function achieve a quality of life higher than that which they are accustomed, keeps him energized and motivated everyday! Like most accomplishments, Dr. Suter's chiropractic dream was born of adversity. He has battled his own painful back injuries, including two broken bones in his spine.
As one of the top ranked wrestlers in the nations, Dr. Suter was no stranger to pain. While training for the high school national championships, he injured his lower back. The pain was so extreme that he could not even stand, forcing his family to literally carry him into the local chiropractor's office. It took a week of adjustments to improve his condition enough to return to the mat. With only another week to prepare for the biggest tournament of his life, the odds were stacked against him.
Not only did Dr. Suter win the national title, but he dominated all eleven opponents with only two matches going the full distance. Imagine, being unable to stand one moment, then standing atop the podium as the best high school wrestler at that weight in the country only two weeks later. This powerful experience was all of the inspiration Dr. Suter needed to decide, "This is what I want to do with my life!"
With the national title in hand, a full ride scholarship to Arizona State University soon followed. Competing at the Division I level demands peak performance at all times. Without frequent chiropractic care, athletic performance can not reach 100%. Dr. Suter says that, "I would not have been able to compete at that level without chiropractic care. It was the only thing that kept me on the mat." He did more than just compete. Consistently ranked as one of the ten best in his weight class for four years, Dr. Suter became and All-American in his junior season. He graduated ASU with a degree in Biology, moving him one step closer to his dream of becoming a chiropractor.
Dr. Suter did not waste time experimenting with other career paths after college. He quickly chose the biggest and best chiropractic school in the world to learn the science and art of chiropractic care, Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Intense focus and hard work allowed Dr. Suter to finish the grueling 14 quarter curriculum in three and a half years, attending school year round without a break.
Dr. Suter is now utlizing his dedication and intensity to bring his patient focused brand of chiropractic to the people of the Lehigh Valley.
